Description
I've been trying to do another Last Airbender piece for years, but I could never come up with a composition I liked that included all the characters. So my bf suggested I do a series of pieces, one for each element. This is my Air piece featuring Aang and his flying buddies. My last Avatar piece was kind of a disaster.
I had no idea until someone pointed it out that Aang looks like he was about to beat Appa senseless with his staff. SO with this piece I was trying to make it look very serene and soft, like Aang was slowly toying with air.
Draw with col erase red & .5 mechanical pencils. Cell shaded with Photoshop CS5

Overall Vision Originality Technique
ImpactWell, the truth is that a truly magical combination, full of meaning and a little reality.
Appa_ Well done, you can distinguish who is the faithful Aang's flying bison, but not very well defined and the truth is that seems made in haste, without stopping to retouch with detenimieto the stroke.
Since Momo_ which is a third plane, the contours look good if they are not marked at all and if no special care of the details, since being away from us can not feel good all around.
Aang_ It looks great he is, even when compared with the original, we find some differences. Especially noteworthy green collar, as in the series was of wooden beads. The hand holding the symbol of the air is quite rough (although I do not leave me very well, so it is best to ignore this comment)
The Air Temple, I'm not sure if it is the temple where Aang lived, the Southern Air Temple or if instead the Northern Air Temple, is located in a fourth plane from which it is impossible to guess his whole form , leading to confusion about which Temple represented.
The air flow is quite well made, I can not say nothing bad against it.
